Then join the Data Science Speakers Club and begin the Toastmasters International educational program at a minimum membership subscription cost of approximately £78* per 6 months (after the initial new-member setup fee of £15), and begin your journey toward increased confidence in public speaking.  

The Data Science Speakers Club is a Toastmasters International club enabling the current and next generation of Data Scientists, Entrepreneurs, Innovators, and Mathematical and Logical Thinkers to focus on their communication and leadership development, increase their self-confidence, become better speakers and leaders, and, most importantly, communicate effectively. 

We meet on the first, third, and sometimes the fifth Mondays of each month (except bank holidays) from 18:00 to 20:30. There is a networking opportunity before the official meeting starts, during the meeting, and afterwards we head to the nearby pub.

A Toastmasters meeting is a 'learn-by-doing' workshop in which members perfect their speaking and leadership skills in a non-pressure, safe, and constructive environment.  There is no instructor in the meeting.  Instead, members evaluate one another's presentations, and this feedback process is a key part of the program's success.
